Storage Device Directory is Corrupted and Unreadable!!!!!
This error comes up when your storage device directory is corrupted or unreadable. In this kind of situation, specially when your drive contains a lot of important files that you don't want to lose.
Some cause of this error is from ejecting the drive by pulling out on a usb port with out using the safe eject button on the windows.
How to fix this issue without formatting the drive and save the files stored in the drive??
Here are the steps:
Step 1: run the command prompt ( CMD )
Press windows buttton + r and type cmd and hit ENTER.
Step 3: Type "chkdsk /f g:" and hit ENTER
Note: g is my drive letter.
Wait until it finished........ and you should see like the image below if it is done.
Kapag ok na makikita mo o ma oopen mu na ang drive mo ng hindi finormat ang drive.
Kapag same padin no choice ka na kundi i format nalang ang drive at gimamit ng data recovery apps..
