 GPT to MBR partition on Windows Installation

     Are you having a problem just like on the image above where it is stated that windows cannot bi installed to the disk? The selected disk is of GPT partition style and you cannot proceed on windows installation? You may try to solve that problem by using the following steps.

Step 1. On windows installation just Press and hold Shift +  F10 key to open the command prompt.

2. On command prompt type "diskpart" (without quote) and hit enter.

3. Type "list disk" (without quote) and hit enter.

4. Type "select disk + disk number" (without quote) and hit enter.

In my example see the image below. The disk available is disk 0 so type "select disk 0" (without quote)

Note: If you have more than 1 disk installed on your device be care full on selecting the disk number. you may delete the files on other disk. To ensure that you have selected the correct disk  just look at its size.

5. After selecting the correct disk, next is type "convert mbr" and hit enter.

6. Type "clean" (with out quote) and hit enter. (Optional) i just included it because it is the way i do it.

7. You can now create a new partition. See image below if you still dont know how to create a partiton. You may enter your desired value of disk. it's your choice though.

Now you can proceed on windows installation.
