Windows 7 Installation Step by Step




There are different options on how you will going to install the windows operating system and one of that is the clean install.

Clean installation of Windows 7 for a desktop or laptop is for the users who wants to freshly install Windows 7 Operating System on their computers by deleting all the data or deleting an specific drive partition from the storage device and installing a new operating system. 

Things You Will Need to Prepare:
1. Bootable USB/Flash Drive (with Windows OS)

Here are the Steps on How to Install Windows 7 Operating System:


Step 1: Set the boot priority on your computer's system bios.

You can enter to the system bios of computer by pressing F2, ESC, DEL, F10 or F9 ( every computer mother board has a different bio's access utility setup key)

Step 2: Select Boot and make your USB bootable drive as your first boot device.
Note: Setting up first boot device may different from the other mother board.


Step 3: Save Settings and Exit
Wait until your computer reboots.






Step 4: Press any Key when the screen display like this


Note: If your computer didn't asked to boot from the selected drive you set in the bios settings in the previous step there is something wrong with the settings you set before in the bios or either in your bootable drive. If this Happens check your bios settings boot priority option or try to replace your installation media.

Step 5: Click "Install Now"



Step 6:  Select Your Language, Time and currency Format and Keyboard Input and click Next. 


Step 7: Accept the License Term by putting a check on the box and Click Next.



Step 8: Click Custom Install


Step 9: In this step you can choose between two option either you continue installation with a single partition or you create another partition before you continue installation.

Option 1: Instaling Windows Operationg System in a single Partion


Note: Follow the next instruction that appears during installation.

Option 2: Creating Multiple Partition Before Installation. 
"RECOMMENDED"

Select Drive Option


Click New


Enter the desired amount of partion and click apply


Select the Unallocated Partition and Click New


Click Apply 
Note: If you want more partition you just enter the amount of partition not larger than the unallocated size.


Select Between Partion 1 or 2 and Click Next
Note: You can't select partition 1.


Wait until the installation is finished.
Note: Your computer may restart several times so don't panic and don't press any key when it restarts.



Step 10: Setting Up your computer for first use.
In this set up, you just need to enter the following data that you want for your computer.


Step 11: Enter the desired name for your computer



Step 12: Enter your desired password. You may leave it blank first if you want.



Step 13: Select any of the three option or select recommended settings.



Step 14: Set up the time and click NEXT



Step 15: Select your Network Type




After the Set up






And your done. You just need to install your computer's device drivers and your desired software.
