Flash drive, pen drive, SD card, Hard Drive, Solid State Drive (SSD) is the most common type of storage drive that we usually use when it comes in storing any datas  from our computers,mobile phones, Tab etc.....This storage device is also prone to what they call the shorcut virus.

Ang shorcut virus ay may 2 klase base on what i've read. This types of shorcut virus is the following:

• McAfee – VBS/Autorun.worm.k virus.
• AVG – VBS/Worm.BH.
• Bitdefender – Trojan.VBS.TTE.
• ClamWin – VBS.Agent-35.
• Quickheal – VBS/Canteix.AK.
• Sophos – Troj/Agent-NXIMal/FakeAV-BW, Mal/Bundpil-LNK.
• ClamAV – W32.Trojan.Starter-2, W32.Exploit.CVE-2010_2568-1.
• Avira – W32/Sality.AB.2
• SmadAV – VBS.Serviks, Serviks.Shortcut, Ramnit.CPL and Bundpil.Shortcut.

Kadalasan ang shorcut virus ay may file extension na .exe , .lnk , .vbs and .ini.

How to remove  this shorcut virus from my infected storage device?

Theres a lot of way na pwede mo gamitin para matanggal ang shorcut virus sa storage device. One of the most easiest way siguro ay ang pag reformat ng infected drive pero kung ang drive mo ay may laman na important datas syempre ayaw mo etong ireformat.

May mga antivirus din na pwede gamitin para matanggal ang shorcut virus na eto pero sa kasamaang palad hindi lahat ng shorcut virus nadedetect ng lahat ng anti virus so there is a achance na maiinfect at maiinfect parin ang storage device mo.

Another way to remove this shorcut virus from the infected drive is ang pag gamit ng command prompt o cmd kung tawagin. Paano ba ito gawin???  So,  just follow the steps provided below.

1. Go to START, RUN and type CMD or by simpy pressing windows + R and type CMD

2.Once cmd is open type the following attrib -h -r -s /s /d X:\*.*  and hit ENTER

NOTE: PAlitan ang X ng drive letter na inffected example kung ang inffected drive ay G then ang ittype mu ay attrib -h -r -s /s /d G:\*.*

3. Your drive is now normal, pero kung may ibang files na nagenerate much better to copy nalang ang mga files sa ibang drive at ireformat ang drive, after ireformat icopy ulit ung file pabalik sa nireformat mung drive.
